COVID & SAFETY

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend the event?

No, you can attend the event with your ticket and either:



  • A negative PCR COVID test dated on or after May 31st, 2022, or
  • Negative rapid antigen test, or
  • Proof of primary vaccination (Initial 2 doses)



Please read our comprehensive COVID policy for the event and be familiar with the expectations of our attendees and our staff to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

Do I need to bring my physical COVID vaccine card?

No, a photo of your vaccination card that matches the name on a state, military, or government issued ID. If your state or government issues digital proof of vaccination, that will suffice as well. However, you will only need to show proof of vaccination once to our staff upon your arrival.



Are masks required to be worn?

Our mask policy is fluid and will correspond with the recommended CDC policies. All attendees will receive a complimentary disposable set of masks in their swag bag.

Is there a way to finance my conference ticket?

Yes! We now offer buy now, pay later payment options via Klarna & Afterpay, with payments starting at $147. Visit our ticketing page to learn more.



Is this conference only for people that like React?

No, while we did begin out as a React Javascript conference, we've now expanded our offering to all things front-end to include speakers from all areas of the front-end ecosystem



What is included with my Ticket?

"a lot" - 21 Savage, East Atlanta Native. Attending our conference gives you FREE FOOD every day during the conference, official conference T-Shirt and merch bag, and access to our official afterparty at the Milk & Cookies music festival.



What are the tracks/speaking topics?

Our speakers will cover the gambit of front-end technologies from React, Angular, Vue, CSS, and more. For everyone looking to go the less code route, we have you covered with talks on engineering leadership, design, community, and Culture/D&I. With the emergence of Web3 our speakers will also be covering all things in the metaverse from NFTs, to DeFi, and general blockchain topics.



Do I need to have years of experience to attend/already be in tech?

NO! While our speakers are considered to be industry experts, their content can be digested and understood by all regardless of skill level. Additionally, if you're just starting out, our conference is a great place to network among others already established in the industry to help ease your transition into tech or new spaces.



Is there a way to network and communicate with other attendees before, during, and after the conference?

Yes! Join our Discord to network, connect, and celebrate your wins with other attendees and the extended Render community during the conference and all year-round. You’ll also be able to connect with other devs in your area through your local channel. See you inside!



Is there a CFP/How can I speak?

We do not have a CFP, all our speakers are hand-selected by our team based on their past speaking engagements, social & community impact, and topics to be presented at our conference. You're welcomed to fill out our speaker request form, and our team will reach out if interested in the future.

What topics will be covered at the conference?

We have four tracks for you to be immersed in from our expert lineup of speakers. The tracks include Front-End engineering, Culture/DE&I, Engineering Management/Leadership, and Web3 (NFTs, DeFi, Blockchain). The conference's detailed schedule of speakers and events will be released 2-3 weeks beforehand



Can I find a new job/career at the conference?

YES! All of our sponsors are looking for talented individuals like yourself while attending our conference. If there's a particular sponsor you're looking to meet, be sure to submit your resume when checking out and drop us a line to our email so we could make the connection. You could also submit your information to our jobs page for opportunities BEFORE the conference.



Why should I attend?

Do I need to be an engineer to attend?

No, our conference is open to all technology professionals. While the content is more directed towards software engineers, you can still learn from our experts discuss a ride-range of topics including testing, design, Culture/D&I, and leadership.



Is the conference really all-inclusive for food and drinks?

Yes, we really do feed you until you can't take it anymore! Think of us like your favorite all-inclusive resort or cruise ship. From the minute the conference begins until it ends, we have you covered while onsite. Be sure to check out our food menu to see what you could expect.



Is there an email template I could use to convince my boss?

Yes, we've created an easy to use email template that you could view and download here to send to the boss.

Tickets

If I can't go for some reason, can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, at no additional cost! We encourage you to gift the ticket to someone who will take advantage of the networking opportunities and learning environment with fellow engineers. Click here to learn how to transfer your ticket.



Do you offer student, special pricing, or discounts?

Unfortunately, we do not because our conference includes unlimited food, drinks, and evening events for all to attend. Unlike many other conferences, the price you pay is truly all-inclusive during your stay in Atlanta beyond travel, transportation and living arrangements.



What do I do if I've lost my ticket or can't remember if I've purchased a ticket already?

Please use the ticket lookup tool to retrieve your tickets. You should receive an email with your tickets afterward if the lookup were successful.



Do you offer scholarships to attend?

YES! Thanks to our amazing sponsors we were able to offer 200 scholarships to individuals that applied to our scholarship program for the 2022 conference year. As of January 9, 2022 all scholarships have been claimed.

TRAVEL & LOCATION

What time does the conference start and end? When should I arrive at and leave Atlanta?

RenderATL will begin on June 1st, 2022 at 10am with workshop sessions.



If you have not purchased workshop tickets, then the event will begin for you at 8pm that same day with the Render Roof Presented by Indeed event.



The conference will end on June 3rd at 5pm, with after hours events going until 2am.



Your ticket also includes after party VIP all-access to the Milk & Cookies Festival ending on June 4th at 1pm.



ARRIVING

Our team and local businesses will be offering unique experiences for our attendees outside the event, so for the full RenderATL experience, we recommend arriving in Atlanta on May 31st.



LEAVING

To experience the full event, including the after party at the Milk & Cookies Festival, we recommend scheduling your departure for June 5th. But if you decide to stay and enjoy the sights, we won’t tell.



How far is the airport from the event venue?

A 20 minute drive without traffic, and a 35 minute drive with traffic. It's Atlanta though, so always assume traffic. You can view the exact route here

Where should I stay in Atlanta/is there a host hotel?

Any hotel in the Centennial Olympic Park area is also only a 10-15 minute ride to the event venue at The Gathering Spot ATL.



However, this year’s host hotel is The Hotel Midtown (a Hilton property).



We will be having more event-related experiences in and around the host hotel, so don’t miss out! Click here to get your attendee discount and book your room.

What is there to do in Atlanta beyond the conference?

Good question! We’ve put together an Instagram guide with some great local places beyond the walls of the conference.

Are travel discounts available?

How far is the event venue from the host hotel?

AT THE EVENT

I have a dietary or ADA needs requirement; how can I ensure the conference will meet my needs?

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked about any dietary or ADA requirements. Please ensure your ticket is accurately filled out to ensure we’re able to satisfy your needs.



If you need to add or change your requirements, please use the ticket lookup tool to retrieve your tickets. You’ll be able to view your tickets, and once on the page, click on "change" to begin editing your ticket information. You should receive an email with your tickets afterward if the lookup was successful.



Is parking free at the venue?

Yes, parking at The Gathering Spot (event center) is free for all attendees. No parking sticker/stamp is required; park wherever you want on the premises.



Is there a dress code? How should I dress?

However you want! But you will want to be comfortable enough to walk around, interact, and lounge around the event center with your fellow attendees.

When will the full speaker schedule be released?

The speaker schedule will be released two weeks before the event but is subject to change.



Where will the Milk & Cookies Music Festival be located?

Please visit our media pass request form by clicking here. Please note, media credentials will be required to be shown for your pass to be issued.

You can upload your resume via your ticket information page or via our jobs page.
